| Surface Exploration has the capability to services Elite, Staffs, Hewland, and Webster transmissions and transaxles. Using a pinion jig, new ring and pinions can be installed with the accuracy required to get the most life out of the set. Shift forks can be properly set to insure proper dogring to gear engagement, thereby minimizing wear and maximizing the life of your ratios.
We are also able to customize the shift feel by altering or adjusting the detents. Clearancing of selector rods and grinding of the selector finger will allow a smoother action of the shifter and allow the shift pattern to be tightened up if required. |
